RRC — Section 1: Hero
Retail Revolution Co

Your retail business has a problem.
We'll fix it.

We work inside retail businesses to find what's costing you money — buying, operations, systems, training — and we fix it. Not a report. Not recommendations. Results you can measure.

RRC — Section 2: Pain Points

Sound familiar?

📉

Your margins are shrinking and no one can tell you exactly where the money is leaking.

🏪

Stores are underperforming but the reports don't explain why — because the problem sits across buying, ops, and systems, not in one neat column.

🚀

You're growing — new stores, new markets, new channels — but the operational foundations weren't built for where you're heading.

📄

You've hired consultants before. You got a strategy deck. Nothing changed.

If any of that landed, we should talk. These are exactly the problems we fix — and we don't leave until they're fixed.
RRC — Section 3: About

Jennifer Hansen

Founder, Retail Revolution Co

I've spent 25 years inside retail businesses — not advising from the outside, but running the operations. Buying. Store networks of 50+ locations. IT systems. Marketing. I've sat in every seat and I know how each function connects to the others.

Most recently, I was General Manager of a major international retailer's Australian operation — responsible for every function from product selection to seeing it reach the customers hands.

What I kept seeing — from the inside — was that most operational problems don't sit in one department. Margin pressure isn't just a buying problem. Store underperformance isn't just a people problem. They're connected, and you need someone who sees the full picture to untangle them.

That's what I do now. I work inside your business, find the real issue, and fix it — whether that's rebuilding your buying strategy, overhauling store operations, deploying the right systems, or training your team to run it without me.

You're not hiring a consultant. You're bringing in an operator — someone who's run every function in a retail business and knows how to fix things, not just identify them.

RRC — Section 4: What I Do

The work that moves the needle

Every engagement starts with understanding your business. From there, I scope the work, agree on what success looks like, and deliver the outcome. Defined scope, clear pricing, full ownership of the result.

Targeted Projects

Specific problems, specific solutions, specific timelines. Range and buying strategy. Store operations overhaul. Market entry planning. Systems review. I scope it, I deliver it, I stand behind the result.

Best for: Businesses with a defined problem or opportunity that needs someone who's done it before.

Embedded Operational Partner

Ongoing, embedded support — from two half-days a month through to one day a week. I work inside your business as a senior operational partner, driving execution across buying, stores, systems, and team capability.

Best for: Retailers who need GM-level thinking on tap without the full-time salary.

Interim Executive

Fractional or interim General Manager and Head of Retail roles, typically two to three days per week. I step into your leadership team, own the outcomes, and drive the business forward.

Best for: Businesses in transition, turnaround, or rapid growth that need experienced leadership now — not in three months.

AI for Retail

Most retail businesses are sitting on AI tools they don't use, or ignoring AI entirely because no one's explained what it actually means for their operation. I audit your business, identify where AI creates real value — buying, inventory, customer service, reporting, marketing — then build the implementation plan and train your team to use it.

Best for: SME retailers who know AI is coming but don't know where to start, and want someone who understands retail — not just technology.

Team Training & Capability

Your systems and strategy are only as good as the team running them. I build and deploy customised training programs covering operational procedures, compliance (Fair Work, WorkSafe, product safety), and new tools — including AI. Delivered through a purpose-built platform your team can access ongoing, not a one-day workshop they forget by Friday.

Best for: Retailers who know their team is the bottleneck, and want training that sticks after the session ends.

⚙️

Systems, AI & Infrastructure — Built In, Not Bolted On

Every engagement includes building the operational infrastructure that makes strategy stick after I leave. Power BI dashboards, KPI frameworks, inventory management tools, compliance systems, and AI tool integration — deployed directly into your business, not filed away in a slide deck. This is how operational change actually holds.

🔍

Getting Found in the Age of AI — Answer Engine Optimisation

When your customers search, they're increasingly asking AI — ChatGPT, Google's AI Overview, Perplexity — not typing keywords into a search bar. Most retail brands don't appear in those answers. I audit how your business shows up in AI-generated search results and build a plan to change it. This is the marketing channel most of your competitors haven't thought about yet.

Best for: Retailers investing in digital marketing who want to get ahead of the next shift before it becomes the standard.

RRC — Section 5: Who I Work With

Retailers at every stage

We work with retailers at every stage — from independents building their first proper systems through to international brands navigating the Australian market.

Australian SME retailers

You know something's not working but you can't pinpoint whether it's a buying problem, an ops problem, or a systems problem — because they're all connected. We've run all of it, so we can tell you where the real issue is and fix it.

International brands entering or expanding in AU/NZ

New market, different rules, and a gap between your headquarters' expectations and Australian retail reality. We bridge that gap — compliance, operations, supply chain, and everything in between.

Retailers in transformation

Digital, omnichannel, new format rollouts, or full operational overhaul — We've led all of these. When you need someone who's done it before and can drive execution, not just draw the roadmap.

Businesses needing interim leadership

Growth, transition, or vacancy — when you need a General Manager or Head of Retail who can step in and deliver from day one.

RRC — Section 6: How It Works

From conversation to results

01

We Have a Conversation

A 30-minute call to understand your business, your challenges, and what you're trying to achieve. No pitch, no pressure — just a straight conversation about what's going on.

02

We Diagnose the Real Problem

Based on what we learn, We'll tell you where we think the issue sits and recommend the right engagement — whether that's a one-day diagnostic, a targeted project, or ongoing embedded support.

03

We Agree on Scope and Outcome

Clear scope, clear pricing, clear timeline. We agree on what success looks like before any work begins. Your problems become my problems until they're solved.

04

You Get Results — and the Systems to Sustain Them

We don't hand over a report and walk away. You get the fix, the systems to maintain it, and a team that knows how to run it. The work sticks.
